Yosemite National Park is under a winter storm warning, with the potential for a significant snow accumulation of up to 8 feet by Boxing Day. Heavy snow and strong winds will make travel challenging during the festive period.
Zimbabwe's Stormy Christmas

The Meteorological Services Department has issued a Level 2 weather warning from December 21st to 24th. Some areas could see over 50mm of rain in just 24 hours, accompanied by hail and frequent lightning. These conditions are a result of warm, moist air interacting with low-pressure systems over the western and northern parts of Zimbabwe.
Australia's Festive Temperature Rollercoaster
Australia is experiencing some extreme temperature variations over the festive period. Sydney, which has been sweltering with temperatures above 40C, is expected to cool down to around 22C by Christmas Day, about 5C below average. Meanwhile, Perth will see temperatures rise, reaching a peak of 40C around Christmas, which is about 10C above average for this time of year.
